Rules and Regulations
Organization:
Platoon: The squad is the smallest breakdown of members in Salvation Gaming Community. The Platoon is compromised of One(1) Lieutenant (First or Second), One(1) Master Sergeant, Three(3) Sergeants, Four(4) Private First Class and Five(5) Privates.
Company: The company consists of a maximum of three platoons and is operated by the commanding Captain with the assistance of his Lieutenants. Weekly company meetings must be held to update members to the goings on in the community.
Regiment: The Regiment consists of a maximum of six to eight Companies the Regiment is operated by the Colonel and his Captains. The Colonel and Regiment command must insure that there are weekly meet and greets for the members of the Regiment. Along with a weekly officer meeting.
Brigade: The Brigade consists of one two five Regiments and is operated by the Brigadier General. The Brigade may be pulled together for community events. Brigade command is also responsible for the education of all Lieutenants and Captains.
Division: The Division consists of all Brigades and is operated by the Major General. The Division command is responsible for training all Colonels and Brigadier Generals.
Appeal Board:
You may apply to the appeal board if you feel you have been wronged in the community this includes but is not limited to;
· Bans
· Demotions
· Probation
Transfers:
If you are looking for between your regiment and another regiment you must have the authorization of your Colonel, the other regiments colonel, and the Brigadier General in charge of the Brigade. If there are two Brigadier Generals involved then they must get approval from the Major General. After this you are allowed to transfer to another regiment.
If you are looking for a company transfer in the same regiment you must get both captains approval and the colonels approval.
If you are looking for a squad transfer you must get both lieutenants approval and the Captains approval.
Education, Testing, and Interviews:
At certain ranks achieved in the community you will be interviewed on your knowledge of community rules and regulations, the rank structure, leadership skills, recruiting tactics and any other questions your commanding officer(s) may have. You will be interviewed at the following ranks;
· Master Sergeant: Know the Honor code and Rank Structure, be able to give a recruitment speech, and understand the basics of the Rules and Regulations
· Lieutenant: The Lieutenant must show that he understands the Honor code, Rank Structure and Rules and Regulations. The Lieutenant must have adequate recruiting tactics beyond what has just be taught to them and they must also be able to organize his Platoon and show proper leadership skills.
· Captain: The Captain must have a vast knowledge of the documents of the community. They must also show that they can train members of his company to prepare for the duties ahead of them if they wish to move through the rank structure. The Captain must also be able to discuss his leadership tactics and ideals.
· Colonel: The Captain must have know the Rules and regulations, Honor Code and Rank Structure completely. They must be able to educate all the people in there regiment about these subjects, Recruitment ,and Leading and organizing there Companies or Platoons.
Abandoning the Community
If you leave Salvation Gaming Community you must go through the Appeal board for re-entry. It is up to the Appeal board whether you are allowed back to into the community. If you have left for another community more then once you will not be allowed back.
Moderation
The SGC Website is ran by dedicated volunteers whose goal is to create an online environment for good-natured discussion, friendly debate, and clean fun on the internet. In an effort to keep create that environment and keep the SGC Website organized, moderators can and will move topics that are posted in the wrong area. Moderators also have the ability to close and/or edit topics that they deem unfit.
Forums, Chat Box, & Private Messaging
The SGC Website uses various forums, chat areas, and private messages designed to enable each member to communicate within the SGC community. When using the forum, chat box, or private messaging features, the follow guidelines must be followed:
Content: No Posts or messages containing any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, harassing, racist, sexually-orientated, illegal, or material otherwise prohibited by the TERMS OF SERVICE for the SGC Website are allowed.
“Netiquette”: When posting or messaging, stay within the scope of a certain forum or thread topic, do not spam, do not cross-post, do not post just to increase the total number of your posts, keep the size of personal images do down, and do not hijack other members’ posts or messages by attempting to change the topic or focus.
Identification
Every member in SGC is Encouraged to represent SGC in the best ways possible. These include but are not limited to:
- If a person decides to change there gamertag they must have it approved by there Captain or Colonel. Any person whom changes their gamertag is promoted to Sergeant for there dedication to the community.
-Gamercards Each member of SGC must represent by placing “Salvationgaming.com” in their bio. They must also display their Regiment and rank in their motto (E.G. SGC Regiment CST), replacing the word “Regiment” with their actual Regiment name.
-Game specific representation: A member of SGC may be required to use certain specifications within games, in order to represent SGC.
Meetings
In order to maintain the communication necessary to provide an enjoyable and professionally-run gaming community, meetings will be regularly and consistently held throughout SGC. Members are strongly encouraged to attend these meeting if applicable. Excessive unexcused absences may result in a demotion.
